    2007 PCD Photo Albums

    The focus has been on change all year, and Polk County Democrats put muscle behind our messages, focusing on winning passage of Measures 49 and 50, and electing candidates. We raised money along with awareness, joining Democrats in other counties to assist progressive efforts we all embrace. As 2007 closes, we can look back with pride at what we collectively accomplished as we work for even greater gains in 2008. Hats off to hardworking PCDs. You made the difference!

    Alan and Gloria's Party

    Another to-wish-for beautiful day materialized for Alan and Gloria Holland's annual party cum fundraiser in West Salem in July. The Flying O'Calloran Brothers (remember them from Election Night 2006? What crowd-pleasers!)provided festive, toe-tapping entertainment. Alan reproposed to a surprised and obviously touched Gloria, both capping the romantic moment with a dance, to the delight of all. It was a leisurely afternoon made for getting to know people and their families, all for a great cause.

    PCD Road Clean-up

    A collective effort to keep Polk County roads beautiful paid off in December as PCD's braved the elements to clean up debris along Highway 99 near Rickreall. Joining PCD Chair Alan Holland and Vice-Chair Suzi Price were Jason Brown, David Papen, Linda Williams, Jim and Josh Roten. Jim took the pictures. thanks, Jim!
